I’m in!

As you may have already heard, I’m running for State Representative in District 121!

In the past 48 hours or so since Joe Straus announced his decision to leave the Texas House, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from friends and neighbors who have reached out to me by message, text, and phone calls encouraging me to run and offering their support. Their vote of confidence is humbling and encouraging.

After seeking counsel of close friends, spending some time with my family, and praying together with Nicole about this decision, I have recognized that my passion for serving the residents of District 121 is unchanged. Indeed, my desire to serve District 121 and advocate for our conservative values in Austin is stronger than ever.

Governor Greg Abbott and other statewide leaders have established a strong conservative agenda for our state, and while there have been some notable successes, there is still MUCH work to be done. With YOUR help, we can ensure that the new Representative from District 121 is working with of limited government, and bring property tax relief to Texas citizens.

There are many more issues that need to be addressed, and in the coming weeks I look forward to articulating my priorities and earning your support in the primary on March 6th.

Please consider making a contribution, signing up to host a neighborhood meet & greet, or volunteering for the campaign. In the meantime, please share this post with your friends – let’s spread the word.

Thanks, and may God continue to bless Texas!

-Matt
